Strength Quest #29: A Quick Circuit and a Couple Heavy Movements to Salvage a Shortened Week.

Today wrapped up the week where the stomach bug got the best of me. I wanted to finish it up with some basic heavy movements and some compound push/pull to keep my body moving as I started to get my stomach used to actually eating again.

When you don’t eat all week, its HARD AS HELL to get a good session in…that’s for sure!

By the beginning of next week I should have some quality calories back in my system so I can hit the training hard again.

Here was today’s session:

Hack Squat:
(135/15, 225/10, 315/8, 405/4, 495/2)

Unilateral Landmine Press:
(45/15 each side, 90/8 each side, 135, 8/each side)

4 Rounds, no break: 10-20 Reps each (until failure)
Mixed Pushups (TRX, Weighted, TRX Incline, Regular)
Mixed Pullups (Weighted, High Low, Regular)
Sandbag Clean and Press (100lbs)

NOTES: The Sandbag at the end definitely got me at the end. Put me over the edge and wore me out. All in all it was a good way to finish out what little of a week I had, and allowed me to prime up for next week.

Until Next Time!
